Osseo Area Schools, Elm Creek Elementary and Oak View Elementary are recipients of honors from the Minnesota Department of Education’s Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) State Leadership team.
Osseo Area Schools was awarded a 2019 Exemplar District Recognition in honor of its work to implement districtwide PBIS. Osseo is one of four districts statewide to receive this recognition this year.
In addition, Elm Creek and Oak View were both named 2019 Sustained Exemplar PBIS Schools. In order to earn this honor, schools were required to complete training and demonstrate continued implementation of schoolwide PBIS work. Throughout the award application process, each school documented the work of its leadership team; PBIS outcome data; action planning; sustainability efforts; and giving back at the local, state or national level.
