College Preparation at NHCC (North Hennepin Community College)

If you’ve been away from college for a while or are planning on attending college for the first time, the College Prep Program at North Hennepin Community College can help. Designed especially for adult learners, the program offers FREE college prep course designed to strengthen your academic and computer skills and help you prepare for college-level work.


  • Must have a high school diploma, or high school equivalency;
  • Must meet program assessment criteria.
  • Must meet state required reading test score

College Prep is geared for students who are comfortable working independently, looking to enroll in college and wanting to brush up on their skills. The College Prep program is self- paced; students work in small groups and get one to one support.
