Technology Education 7 – 1 Trimester

Students lean about communication and information, manufacturing and transportation technologies.  In communication and information, students will be exposed to computer-aided drafting (CAD), silk screening and the Internet.  Students will design and construct a product in manufacturing.  In transportation, students study and test various aspects of transportation systems.

Technology Education 8 – 1 Trimester

Students are introduced to communication and information, construction and manufacturing technologies.  Systems, processes, materials safety, tools and machines are studied.  Projects include manufacturing of a small product and a group designed and constructed model of an energy efficient dwelling.
