My summer teen reading:

Eclipse by Stephanie Meyer.

This is the third book about Edward Cullen and Bella Swan.  It is the continued story of the romance and struggles for this vampire and teenage couple.  Their relationship grows as they are faced by both romantic struggles and eminent danger.

The first two books are:  Twilight and New Moon

Peeps  by Scott Westerfeld.

This is the first in a series of vampire chronicles.  Here being a vampire is treated like a contagious disease.  The story is told through the eyes of Cal, a peep, working for a secret vampire organization.  In between chapters of action is slipped chapters about various infectious diseases.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling.

The seventh, and final, book in the Harry Potter series tied up many lose ends.  Questions about characters loyalties and behaviors are clarified.  It also includes a long winding adventure to find horcruxes as well as good battle and action scenes.

Blue Bloods and Masquerade by Melissa De La Cruz.

Books one and two in the series, they center around New York teen socialites.  They are the elite rich and somewhat famous students who attend an exclusive private school.  There is a powerful and influential part of the student population who just so happen to be blue bloods, a very old line of vampires.  The only problem these  rich vampires face is that they are mysteriously being killed off.  Only Schuler Van Allen is willing to try and solve the mystery.
