What is SEM?

 

  • A program to enrich the education of all students
  • An avenue for students that want to go above and beyond what is available in classroom situations.
  • A place to pursue specific interests in school.
Who is a SEM Student?
Who Can Get Involved?

 

  • Students who get normal class work done fast.
  • Students who are responsible enough to stay caught up with his/her class work.
  • Students who are creative.
SEM Room Guidelines

 

The following are purposes of the SEM program room:

  • A place to work on Independent Study projects
  • A place to explore interests
  • A place to conduct seminars
  • A place to work on short term projects
  • A place to coordinate SEM field trips in the building
  • A place to participate in enrichment projects which reach out into the community
  • A place to provide additional help for enrichment projects assigned in the regular classroom
