MISSION STATEMENT:
The mission of the Brooklyn Junior High Counseling Department is to support the academic, personal/social, and career development of all students.
VISION:
The Counseling Department at Brooklyn Junior High believes every child possess gifts (skills and abilities) that can be developed and used in the world.
The Counseling Department supports the development of these gifts by:
- providing guidance lessons in the classrooms
- individual student counseling sessions
- responding to student and staff need
- supporting an environment that promotes student learning
Brooklyn Junior High Counselors work in collaboration with teachers, staff, families and the community to support the educational development of all students.
